Kimberly and Tom

December 16, 2017

Kimberly and Tom, who reside in Tom’s hometown of London, tied the knot at The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, a villa in Miami that boasts Italian Renaissance gardens, orchids, terraces, century old trees, and woodland landscapes. The venue is as romantically robust of a location befitting for their love. Laughter (Tom licked the cake, designed by Eddas Cake Designs right off his plate) and tears (Kimberly’s mom cried tears of joy) were equally present. The two are partners, and that is clear. They even made their own champagne, Kimberly and Tom Brut, for their big day which the ladies enjoyed while primping for the big event. The bride, and her bridesmaids, clinked champagne glasses adorned with the date of her wedding as they got ready at the sexy Delano Hotel in South Beach, an art deco masterpiece right on the water. Her dark and long hair was perfectly tousled, and make up minimal and flawless. The team at Marz Make-Up and Hair (Miami favorites) did an impeccable job grooming Kimberly and her ladies for her big day. Kimberly and Tom’s chemistry is palpable, and physical connection undeniable. Their passion is present in their pre-wedding photos taken in the famed gardens, underneath trees that are over four hundred years old, and mossy Oaks reminiscent of Savannah. Subtropical trees and orchids and greenery of all kind created the ideal visual landscape for the stunning couple. Kimberly, dressed in an exquisite Alvina Valenta dress, paired it with strappy Aquazurra heels which she danced the night away in. Tom opted for a Cad & The Dandy tux, made at Saville Row London. Handsome, tall, with kind eyes, Tom kissed the head of his proud and emotional mother, dressed in turquoise, after his speech. The classic man wore Broadland Bespoken Slippers, and monogrammed his tux. He, and his groomsmen, wore corsages which fit well with the surroundings of the historic gardens, and the floral theme of their wedding. Although it was a serious day, full of vows exchanged under a floral Chuppah, the two don’t take themselves too seriously evident when the party started. Most of the wedding party came over from London, and British dry humor, and the joy of celebration, was alive and well. The large wedding party danced to music performed by local favorites, the Bay Kings Band. This band can read the room and kept the energy high when appropriate, and slowed it down when appropriate, too. The newlyweds and their friends posed in pictures with cheeky accessories. What’s a wedding without a photobooth? Photo Booth Party really came through, providing funny props for photos.  Kimberly chose the donut glasses, and Tom appropriately c hose British flag glasses. After they officially said “I do” the handsome couple walked down the aisle as their adoring families and friends threw rose petals onto them. Later in the night, their loved ones held sparklers in the air as they shared a kiss. White and pink roses, and candles, were ever present. Rodri Creations, their florist, excelled at creating bouquets for each wedding table. The sensual color palette created a sexy and romantic ambience. Jessica Campbell Events did a fantastic job executing a timeless, iconic, fun and heartfelt wedding with two people clearly meant to be. The mix of humor and wit (each of their wedding tables had funny pictures of the couple on them) and their sincere love created an elegant experience for all.
