Nikki and Andrew at Guastavinos NYC

September 2, 2017

Nikki and Andrew married at Gustavino's, the historic arcade venue underneath the Queensboro Bridge in NYC. All smiles, the glamorous venue was a mirror image to the timeless love they possessed, evident throughout the night from exchanging vows underneath a floral chuppah, to their shared intimacy on the dance floor. Andrew, classically handsome and rocking a bow tie, hoisted his bride during their first dance. That move is what they are: fun, adventurous, and madly in love. History was present at the wedding space, which boasts granite arches, Catalan vaulted tiled ceilings, a private garden, and it couldn't be more perfectly located than in mid-town Manhattan. The arches and high ceilings located there make for a special concert experience (those acoustics!) which the couple took advantage of as Andrew, Nikki, and their gorgeous family, danced the early fall evening away with tunes by Band Element music. Gustavino's was a perfect choice. An architectural masterpiece as much as their union was. Their love is long lasting and elegant, and, Nikki has good genes to have them dancing into the future! Her mother, unspeakably beautiful, walked her down the aisle. Nikki wore a Lazaro dress with a long, ethereal train, and sparkly, delicate Jimmy Choo heels. The couple got ready at the Omni Hotel, just nearby, where the ydid their first look. Her bridesmaids, in matching PJs, got the first look of Niki in her dress. What a glorious juxtaposition. And the wedding was as buoyant, full of tears and laughter. Nikki and her large group of bridesmaids, dressed in a surprisingly stunning charcoal gray (they take risks!), wore delicate diamond charm bracelets. The charm? A heart. How appropriate. September is one of New York's more lovely months, and, in pre-fall New York, perhaps the most romantic. What other details added to the picture perfect wedding? Flowers. White lilies and orchards, designed by Andrew Pascoe, were found on their tables, and even were sprinkled on the ground when they took their first walk down the aisle as a married couple. Prior to the wedding, they took pictures under the bridge. The bridge has been around since 1909. Let's just say their marriage will outlive that. Mazel Tov!
